Sue has over 30 years experience in the Finance Industry and has been involved in Compliance since 2000. She moved from the Credit & Risk Management department to assist the Senior Compliance Manager at ABN AMRO NV with general duties, procedures and with the preparation of documents and information for a JFSC visit.Sue expanded her knowledge into the Trust Industry in 2001 conducting compliance and CDD reviews, procedure writing, risk assessments and conducting trust and company reviews, whilst working for a Keldon Consultants Limited and for Sefta Trust Company. In 2008 Sue applied her knowledge in assisting with the set-up of a new Bank to the Island, BHI Jersey Limited (Bank Hapoalim) which offered Private Banking Services to High Net Worth Clients, implemented systems, policies and procedures, Bank Application and processing Forms, Terms of Business and staff training.In 2011 Sue joined Active Group as a Consultant providing Compliance guidance and advice to clients, writing Compliance Manuals, Monitoring Programmes and conducted CDD reviews for Funds, Trust Business, General Insurance Mediation Business and Investment Business. Sue provided Company Secretarial services collating and distributing board packs and agendas and composing minutes together with the maintenance of statutory documents. Sue also held the position as the Compliance Manager, Compliance Officer, MLCO and MLRO for the company Active Corporate Services (Jersey) Limited regulated in the conduct of Trust Company Business and Funds Services Business and is licensed to act as a MoME, and prepared Compliance and MLRO Reports to the board, attended board meetings, prepared minutes, maintained regulatory registers, conducted AML Training and prepared policies, procedures, compliance and AML Manuals and Monitoring Programmes.In 2013 Sue worked for Appleby on a contract basis as the temporary Senior Compliance Officer and assisted the Head of Compliance with the FATCA Project.
