First and foremost, I love working with people. Yes, I am an extrovert. I love getting to know about the people I work with, the customers I serve, whether internal or external. I gravitate to learning about how to better work with people, positively influence culture, and cultivate real connections. After all, we spend more time on any given day with the people we work with then we do sometimes with our families. Over the past thirty years I have had some amazing opportunities and worked with some truly outstanding people. Since 2015 I have been working at the coolest freaking place in the world! And what an inspiring vision - Expanding the Frontiers of Space Astronomy.As the Director of IT Solutions at STScI, I work with a talented team of IT professionals. Helping people grow their careers, helping to advance and improve how we support our missions, and aligning the teams to move in the same direction around our goals is what gets me up and moving in the morning. I feel lucky and privileged to work with such awesome people.One of the most rewarding projects I have been a part of at STScI is the implementation and management of the ServiceNow platform. As the Platform Manager, I lead a creative and talented group of Product Managers and Developers. We have successfully adopted the platform across the enterprise and literally changed the way the organization works through an extraordinary digital transformation. Whenever I have the chance to get away I love spending time at our vacation home in the quite zone in Green Bank, West Virginia.
