- Design of a strategic communication campaign for the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCBD), held in Canada Dec 2022. The campaign highlighted the role of indigenous and local community women from the Global South in marine and terrestrial biodiversity conservation and the reforms necessary to be integrated into the international legal framework.- Conceptualization and management of the 1st edition of the “She Shapes Biodiversity Photo Contest”, which honours the work of women from local communities and indigenous peoples in conserving biodiversity in the Global South, and exhibition organization of the winning photographs at COP 15.

I am part of a global group of National Geographic explorers and collaborators (team of 58 contributors from 21 countries), including scientists, educators, artists, and storytellers who began reflecting on how behavioural changes under COVID-19 impacted our society's relationship with nature. The project tackles pollution, food waste, education, economy, and indigenous leadership through multi-sensory stories, art, and calls to action.- Lead and co-author of "The Future of Healing" chapter in collaboration with several indigenous activists and artists. The co-authors are the internationally recognized indigenous leaders Miriam Miranda (Garífuna people), Lolita Chávez (K'iche 'Mayan people), Juan Marileo (Mapuche people), and the ceramic artist Yessica Huenteman Medina (Mapuche people).- Co-author of "The Future of Nature" and "The Future of Knowledge" chapters about local communities' diversity, natural environments, knowledge systems, and indigenous worldviews.- Educational resources development directed for a target audience of students aged 12 -18.

Development and writing of in-depth news, reports, and interviews on interculturality, human rights, and the interaction with the environment, particularly on themes related to marine conservation (marine protected areas, artisanal fishing, overfishing, etc.) and social conflicts regarding ownership of natural resources in lands and waters traditionally used by indigenous and local communities.

Review of conference abstracts for the 5th International Marine Protected Areas Congress (IMPAC5), a global forum that brings together international ocean conservation professionals and high-level officials to inform, inspire and act on marine protected areas. Expertise: Indigenous peoples' traditional knowledge and practices applied to marine protection, locally managed coastal marine protected areas, and artisanal fisheries.

- Multimedia production for promoting depopulated rural regions in Spain.- Designing a strategic communication plan to highlight the unique characteristics of rural villages, towns, and local communities to attract the attention of the broader Spanish audience.- Planning and conducting interviews and formal meetings with local public representatives from rural Spain.

- Within the framework of the Panamerican project “Black & Indigenous Liberation Movement”, I developed and designed a communication strategy for a 10-day online cultural event that involved a federation of 134 indigenous and black liberation organizations based in America, from Canada to Chile (Amazon Watch, Indigenous Environmental Network, Indigenous Climate Action, Black Land Liberation Initiative, etc.). - Direction and execution of the communication plan, leading an international and multidisciplinary team of community managers, graphic artists, and journalists.- Scriptwriting for several promotional videos and coordination with the production company in charge. - Content writing with special care in the narrative used in black and indigenous liberation movements: style and accuracy (decolonizing narratives).

French Polynesia

- Production of the TV series HO'E ANA'E TATOU, 'We are one' in Tahitian, which documents the journey around the world of two young Polynesian activists of Maohi origin to raise awareness about the climate change impact on their islands and culture, deeply linked to ocean protection. - Journalist and field expedition leader on the South American phase for producing several visual reports of the national parks (marine and terrestrial) co-managed by indigenous peoples (Mapuche, Rapa Nui and Huilliche peoples).

French Polynesia

The NGO Pew Trust, as part of its Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy program, supports numerous initiatives aimed at the establishment of marine protected areas (coastal and large-scale) as well as sustainable projects related to the preservation of marine ecosystems led by local populations and indigenous peoples in a great diversity of countries and regions. Along with an extensive audiovisual creation activity, I carried out numerous communicative and participatory campaigns through regular public meetings with different stakeholders (fishermen, coastal farmers, scientists, religious institutions, civil society, and schools) within the framework of several marine conservation projects on various islands of French Polynesia.- News coverage coordination on the arrival of the traditional Hawaiian pirogues Hōkūle'a and Hikianalia in Tahiti, 2017. Ancestral navigation and marine conservation project. (Polynesian Voyaging Society).- Communication campaign design and implementation of the Rāhui No Teva I Uta project, launched in 2017 by the City Council of Teva I Uta, Tahiti. The word Rahui refers to a conservation practice, both terrestrial and marine, that has been practiced for centuries throughout the Polynesian triangle by the different oceanic island peoples.- Communication campaign coordination and implementation of the World Oceans Day in Tahiti in 2018. The campaign included a conference with international speakers (Chile, Canada, etc.) and an associative festival of local environmental organizations whose central theme revolved around protecting the sea and the oceanic culture.- Communication campaign design and implementation to promote a constructive debate on creating Te Tai Nui A Hau, 'The Great Ocean of Peace,' a large-scale marine protected area (430.000 km2) in the Marquesas Islands. The campaign significantly positively affected the Polynesian public regarding the preservation and representativeness of different stakeholders.
