The NGO Pew Trust, as part of its Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy program, supports numerous initiatives aimed at the establishment of marine protected areas (coastal and large-scale) as well as sustainable projects related to the preservation of marine ecosystems led by local populations and indigenous peoples in a great diversity of countries and regions. Along with an extensive audiovisual creation activity, I carried out numerous communicative and participatory campaigns through regular public meetings with different stakeholders (fishermen, coastal farmers, scientists, religious institutions, civil society, and schools) within the framework of several marine conservation projects on various islands of French Polynesia.- News coverage coordination on the arrival of the traditional Hawaiian pirogues Hōkūle'a and Hikianalia in Tahiti, 2017. Ancestral navigation and marine conservation project. (Polynesian Voyaging Society).- Communication campaign design and implementation of the Rāhui No Teva I Uta project, launched in 2017 by the City Council of Teva I Uta, Tahiti. The word Rahui refers to a conservation practice, both terrestrial and marine, that has been practiced for centuries throughout the Polynesian triangle by the different oceanic island peoples.- Communication campaign coordination and implementation of the World Oceans Day in Tahiti in 2018. The campaign included a conference with international speakers (Chile, Canada, etc.) and an associative festival of local environmental organizations whose central theme revolved around protecting the sea and the oceanic culture.- Communication campaign design and implementation to promote a constructive debate on creating Te Tai Nui A Hau, 'The Great Ocean of Peace,' a large-scale marine protected area (430.000 km2) in the Marquesas Islands. The campaign significantly positively affected the Polynesian public regarding the preservation and representativeness of different stakeholders.
