Susan is CEO & Co-Founder of NKA Bio where we are working to develop therapeutic antibodies to buy more time for life-saving care. Our lead product is NKA01, a temperature-stable antibody for trauma resuscitation. When you are severely injured, it is a race against time to get to surgery. The average person dies 8 minutes before lifesaving treatment can be delivered.But in the future, when minutes count, our antibody will buy hours. In preclinical studies, our treatment presses pause on death. In the future, with an injection of NKA01 by EMS or military medics, our drug could buy more time for transport and lifesaving surgery.
