As an intern from the Commonwealth of Learning in Vancouver, BC, my primary responsibility was to develop the storyboards for two computer-based distance learning modules on topics related to agriculture and drought, which were targeted at rural farmers. These learning modules were successfully in use in select rural villages in southern India for at least two years after implementation of the pilot project.I was also a member of the organizing committee for the Regional Consultation on Rural Women in Knowledge Society, sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. I acted as committee secretary, documenting thorough minutes at several sessions that went directly into the final report.Some other duties include writing the technical script for a training video, writing press releases and editing various documents.
