• Promote, sell and secure Seattle area and its facilities as a tourism destination for conventions and meetings.• Highly visible and successful leader supporting both partners and client relationships in the selling process.• Solicitation, research, and qualification of key accounts within a territory to increase sales and market share.• Concurrently facilitate and manage up to 80+ sourced requests for proposals (RFP) for meetings and conventions. • Groups sizes ranging from 10 – 6000, people using one property or the convention center with multiple hotels.• Provide, present and sell strategic pricing and packaging for use of the convention center and multiple hotels.• Create, coordinate, and conduct detailed client site visit itineraries with collaboration of multiple partners. • Set up sales calls in other cities, provide detailed itinerary and invite multiple suppliers to each appointment.• Industry (PCMA, MPI, IMEX, CVENT CONNECT, HB ABC etc) tradeshows, conferences and annual client event in DC.• 2019 personal conversion rate of 24% of leads to bookings• Annually achieved booking goal by 100% (2023 - 17% over goal)• Annually achieved tentative lead goal by 100% • 2023 booked 60,000 definite room nights for self-contained meetings with an economic impact of $52,959,953.77.
