This is a town gown group that offers education to its members. We have programs conducted by some of the faculty of Northwestern University. There are two programs a month basically from Oct to May. Membership is open. I have enjoyed working with this group as president and program chairman. The group also offers scholarships to Northwestern Students. The organization assist its members in many areas of environmental education, landscape design, horticulture knowledge, and floral arranging. Its members are active in local, state and nation discussions regarding best use of our natural resources. The members contribute time and physical energy on many projects in their communities. This has been an organization that I have been a member of since 1980. The presidency is a two year term. I will travel a few times to National and Regional meetings as well as around the state. In Illinois there are over 180 garden clubs and more than 8,000 members. As Past President I am on the State Board of GCI and currently serve on the National Garden Nominating Committee and Central Regions board of Directors chairman of the committee of Natural Disasters.

Currently a member of the WCR. This organization is a professional group that strives to improve ones skills in real estate sales. Past State President and National Officer of WCR as Central Region Director. Developed the Leadership Training Educational Program of WCR.

I am an Honorary Member because I was president of the Northside Real Estate Board when we negotiated the merger with the Chicago Board of Realtors. As part of the negotiation team the merger was approved by NAR and both local associations.Today Chicago Association of REALTORS is one of the largest Real Estate trade associations in the World.
