As the marketplace globalizes, the world has become smaller. Innovations in technology have bridged the communication divide allowing cross-cultural businesses to flourish. The prosperity of the United States has instigated growth in emerging markets increasing opportunities for all.From my first course in economics to the completion of my global MBA, I have been fascinated with the interplay of global markets. No wonder. Growing up in Europe on a NATO command, my world was international from the earliest age. My appreciation of cultural synergies led to my White House career where ultimately I accompanied the President to the NATO summit.
