As a Family and children's lawyer, Mediator, uncoupling coach/guide, kundalini yoga teacher, fitness gal, and health freedom advocate, Ms. Hamwi has led the field for decades, infusing loving kindness and compassion into her practice of family law. She supports couples, families, partnerships and groups in resolving disagreements amicably, restoring harmony to their relationships. Ms. Hamwi is co-founder of SettlementWorks with fellow lawyer/mediator Dennis A. Cohen. and founder of Dynamic Family Resolution. For 17 years Ms. Hamwi and Mr. Cohen have practiced family law aboard Concordance, a classic yacht docked at Marina del Rey, California. Together they have facilitated thousands of couples and families through every imaginable challenge, inviting them to reopen heart-centered communication with each other, and to co-create harmonious solutions. Couples may choose one mediator or a dynamic co-mediator male-female team to support their uncoupling process. All ways ensuring clients feel comfortable, safe and empowered in an atmosphere providing both legal and emotional support as they move through their pre-divorce divorce- post divorce /uncoupling process and other related sensitive issues that effect their lives.
