Susan D. Blackwell Email and Phone Number
I seek to put my research, writing and analytical skills to work in a mission-driven organization where I can both contribute to the business of the enterprise and to the well-being of the community. In addition to years of editing legal, business and other non-fiction writing, I have experience in program management and event planning. My skills lend themselves well to the field of grant writing/administration. I wrote a successful grant application to the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts to bring an artist-in-residence into the Southern District YMCA for five weeks in January-February 2018. I am capable of adjusting to new technology and successfully transitioned my yoga teaching to virtual platforms (Zoom, YouTube, FaceBook) in 2020. I enjoy connecting people with the resources they need to bring their mission forward. How may I help you?

Independent Yoga TeacherSusan D. Blackwell Jan 2015 - PresentI received my 200-hour teacher certification in hatha yoga from the YogaLife Institute-NH in February 2015 and have been teaching regularly since. While I have the ability to and do teach classes that are more vigorous physically, I am drawn to a slower, gentle style that offers students the opportunity to more deeply explore the pathways of communication among the mind, body and spirit that can result from intentional alignment of movement with breathing.
