The common thread through Susan's career is building products and businesses using great teams combined with data, analytics, technology and platforms. Her career opportunities fanned a passion for facilitating markets with new tech, especially commodities. Prior to founding Action Intel, Susan led Demeter Logistics as CEO, building a company from the ground up to produce a novel platform for grain trading and logistics. Ahead of that role, Susan was COO of EdjAnalytics, leading a team to use data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence to help companies and organizations drive decision making using insights from data. She was previous Managing Director of three divisions at Genscape responsible for leading business, new product development, strategic initiatives and operational activities. During her tenure at Genscape, she co-invented six patents for technologies that produced market insights. Other roles include fuel control design for the Joint Strike Fighter with Honeywell Aerospace and research for the Office of Naval Research and NASA Ames Research Center. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Notre Dame in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in engineering from the University of Evansville.
