Administer the Breath Alcohol Igntion Interlock (BAIID) program for the Illinois Secretary of State. This division monitors over 12,000 DUI offenders who are ordered to have a BAIID in their vehicles annually. As the Program Administrator, I manage all areas of the program, including supervising 14 staff, certifying BAIID vendors annually as well as BAIID devices, implement new laws or changes to current law in regards to the BAIID program, and serve as advisor to the Secretary on impaired driving issues.

As a Trained Divorce Mediator, I performed divorce mediation services for couples that were court ordered to attend mediation due to custody issues. As a Parent Educator, I teach monthly parenting classes to parents who are divorcing who must, by court order, attend a parenting class.

Directed daily operations and budget of statewide nonprofit organization. Served as MADD Illinois lobbyist and spokesperson with media and public. Organized and developed public relations campaigns and fund raising campaigns. Effectively worked with volunteer base and MADD State Organization Council. Collaborated with other community organizations to forward the mission of MADD. Supervised staff in office and in two satellite offices.

Developed, implemented, and ran Intensive Outpatient program from substance abuse clients. Performed DUI evaluations, completed intake evaluations, completed aftercare plans and participated in both individual and group counseling sessions. Worked with Greene County Boot Camp (Illinois prison) to perform intake evaluations on all inmates of recently populated prison alternative.
