Through personalized career coaching, I guide clients in navigating career transitions, developing leadership abilities, and achieving personal growth.I’m an experienced ESL instructor teaching English language learners from all over the world. I love helping my students improve their communication skills so they can be more confident and productive at work and more easily navigate through their lives. I bring this dedication into one-on-one individualized sessions and the classroom as I coach my students in their use of language, tone, pronunciation, writing, and understanding of cultural nuances. In my one-to-one sessions, I tailor my lessons to meet the students’ needs and interests. Lessons may include feedback about mistakes in pronunciation, grammar or unnatural expressions. We’ll talk about idioms or vocabulary that can be used to better express thoughts. Students may be asked to read news articles and also watch American TV shows or Ted Talks and summarize them so that we can discuss better ways to describe or summarize including vocabulary, sentence structure, idioms and pronunciation. I also specialize in interview and other job search related needs. My real strength is helping you better articulate your skills and value to potential employers.Before becoming an ESL Instructor and career consultant, I worked for many years as a client manager in the high-tech industry followed by 12 years as an entrepreneur. I have strong customer service and problem solving skills and bring these strengths along with my ability to easily connect with others to the classroom and one-to-one or small group coaching sessions.
