Public schools are the cornerstone of any community. I have 25 years of experience in public education across 7 districts in three states in rural, urban, and suburban schools. My experience is broad and deep. It includes elementary, middle, and high school from the classroom to the central office. I have recently joined Freeport District 145 as the Assistant Superintendent of HR. I'm so excited to take on a new adventure in education! I also serve as Board VP for Rockford Promise. We give hundreds of full-tuition scholarships to Rockford Public School graduates. This initiative partners with local government, businesses, and three colleges to work toward our mission of contributing to the economic health of our city by increasing college attainment levels and attracting families to the community.
