Assist with content writing for aesthetic physicians across the country, including blogs, web pages, press releases, and site refresh assignments. All content uses search engine marketing (SEM) best practices and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. Additionally, I will assist with new materials for the MD Internet Marketing website, as needed. These documents cover current topics in SEM and brand management for aesthetic providers.

Write various materials for a variety of aesthetic clients, including cosmetic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, and hair restoration. Content includes blogs, AP-style press releases, new procedure pages, as well as site refresh using SEO and SEM strategies.

Since 2011, I have worked in several different content writing roles for aesthetic and plastic surgery practices across the United States.The scope of these practices include plastic and cosmetic, surgery; reconstructive surgery; cosmetic dentistry; hair restoration; dermatology; and integrated/holistic health. My primary focus on new and updated website content, the creation of new procedure pages, article writing/editing, book chapter writing/editing, and press release writing. I also provide assistance with social media posts and physician forums.

I began at Allergy and ENT Associates as a full-time RN in 1996, providing patient care such as assessments and triage, skin testing, immunotherapy, medication administration, and eduction. While I left the practice in 1998 to return to school, completing my BA in English, I later returned on a PRN basis.

I provided research assistance for the Rice Building Institute (RBI), a part of Rice University's School of Architecture. During this time I provided research assistance for RBI book project and symposiums, edited materials, provided library/internet research, located/contacted international architects, contractors, and designers for book project, compiled ‘suggested reading’ lists for chapters in the RBI book project, maintained contributor legal releases, and provided promotional assistance with RBI seminars. Our book, The New Competitiveness in Design and Construction, was published in 3/08 (John Wiley & Sons).
