Fast-paced biotech specializing in RNA interfering therapies for rare diseases. Company has grown by leaps and bounds in a short time, having increased headcount by ~30% per year over the past 3 yrs and continuing. I was hired to create an HR Operations & Systems function from scratch, build up the department and put processes in place. I also led the HR Project Management Office (PMO), to assess, evaluate and plan for systems-related HR projects both within the department and across other functions. Within the first six months, I established savings of >50% on Managed Service Provider budget, instituted SLA's with 3rd party vendors and implemented numerous quality-enhancing and cost/ time-saving initiatives within 1st year. I also oversaw successful upgrade from Oracle R12 to R13, and Taleo v16 to v17.

Oversaw global implementation of IBM Kenexa BrassRing applicant tracking systems (ATS). Project required significant change management as each of 30 plus global locations was starting from varying levels of recruiting and systems maturity; most working from hand written applications, some with Excel spreadsheets. Achieved ROI within one year of Kenexa BrassRing launch through ~50% (.5M savings) reduction of agency use, as well as unmeasurable time saved by HR staff globally, and leaps and bounds of improvement in the candidate experience as well as in compliance and auditability. In starting up the project, I was not only responsible for hiring and assembling the entire project team (~35 stakeholders and 5 FT team members), but also for creating project documentation and protocols using limited tools. I established a set of project management status reports, automated tools for tracking issues and requirements, PowerPoint decks for reporting out to Steering Committee and other governance groups, and surveys to gather project team members' input. BCG was a beta site for many of the applications' features, such as social employee referral and language translations (application was available in 5 languages). I partnered very closely with IBM Leadership to develop and test certain functionality and provide enhancement insights as part of the Customer Relationship Board. The role also required me to work very closely with the Global Legal team, to ensure we understood and could address legal requirements for each country, including lawful application questions and data protection / purging under GDPR. Oversaw multiple integrations to other HR systems to streamline sharing of data including job codes, titles and new hire data. I orchestrated requirements and specification document delivery through technical execution, launch and hyper-care.
