GIS is a relatively new tool in the fields of Historic Preservation, Underwater Archaeology, and Sustainability. Stugan Consulting is geared towards bridging the gap between GIS technology and these disciplines. This is done with thoughtful consideration and thorough investigation on a case-by-case basis.

Create and build the GTBUP's GIS using the NAS (Nautical Archaeology Society) standard - Site Recorder 4.Promote cultural resources by loading complete GTBUP inventory into Google Maps / Google Earth using *.kml and *.kmz.Consolidate and update the Preserve's cultural resources inventory: shipwrecks, foreshore / shore, miscellaneous (including NAGPRA - related), geologic, and dive-related training sites.
