I am a NJ licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in systemic family relationships.  I work with individuals, couples, and families, with adolescents, young adults, and more mature adults.  I use an active, present day, problem solving focus in my work.  Most clients find that I am real and easy to talk to.  My office is warm and comfortable.  My hours are flexible, including some weekend hours.  As a client, you are important to me, and I will do everything I can to make your comfortable.  I will listen to you attentively and respectfully.  I will ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere to try to get to know you.  I will assess you, and help you assess yourself, in terms of your strengths and life patterns.  I will help you explore any thoughts or behaviors that you feel sabotage your success, or get in the way of your goals for a satisfying life. I will work with you if you are grieving a loss, either recent or historic.  I will work with you if you are experiencing anxiety, depression, and work- or family-related stress.  I will help you look at eating issues and other addictive behavior.  I will talk with you in order to explore the health and satisfaction of your family relationships and your chosen relationships.  Together we will formulate goals that you commit to working on. I have been in the field of family therapy for twenty years, and I bring life experience, and perhaps some wisdom, to my work.  I definitely bring energy, commitment, and passion to my work.  I love what I do.  I admire every client who walks through my door, and I appreciate the courage they bring to the work and the trust they bring to me.   Specialties: Individuals, couples.  Active, problem-solving.
