As an Artist Instructor at the Hartt School, I serve in many capacities, from technical instruction to theory, pedagogy, repertoire and chamber music coaching. I teach both in person and online using Zoom, Skype and FaceTime, and have had much success with my own studio of continuing students, in addition to beginning students. Much of my position involves preparing recruiting presentations for college fairs and Open Houses. In 2021 I was awarded a Faculty Development Grant for use in researching and producing a concert on Spanish and South American music, rhythms and techniques. As a professional musician, I play with orchestras of many sizes and range, including small chamber orchestras and smaller chamber groups. My professional also expands to church functions and/or concerts requiring either special music, or specifically a harpist.I founded my own 1-week harp camp, CT Valley Harp Intensive Summer Camp in 2009, where I served as Director, Instructor and Performance artist.
