Business Systems Administrator
CurrentIn my position as business system administrator, I interact with external vendors and staff to ensure availability of our various business systems. I provide hands on support to our SharePoint farms that provide Intranet and public website content for the Water Research Foundation. I also provide hands on support for our AMS/CRM that handles our customer records and integrates with our Sharepoint websites.SPECIFIC DUTIES:- Plan and document projects related to the development and maintenance of the SharePoint environments such as website, intranet, collaboration sites- Collaborate with other stakeholders in the overall management of the SharePoint environment from both an operational perspective and an end-user perspective - Develop documentation, validate, and monitor operational policies - Manage SharePoint permissions- Configure and maintain, managed meta data, document libraries, lists and site collections- Actively participate in SharePoint project meetings, providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing - Support the overall development, implementation and use of the CRM- Assist with database and application upgrades and routine maintenance- Develop and implement integration between systems- Using SAP BusinessObjects and SQL, create and maintain Crystal reports- Serve as WRF liaison with end-users, IT managed services and vendors resolving software problems - Troubleshoot to get to the source of problems and develop possible solutions- Develop business requirement documentation for IT projects - Provide end-user support and training. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.- Analyze the need and feasibility of requests for new enhancements to existing systems; ensure the system design fits the needs of users & organizational objectives. Collaborate in the design, development, documentation & deployment of enhancements.
