Served on the senior leadership team to help design and drive strategies to position and promote the Partners in Food Solutions' (PFS) brand and mission of improving food security, nutrition and economic development in Africa among target audiences. Helped devise strategies to recruit and engage over 700 employee volunteers from four world-class companies (General Mills, Cargill, Royal DSM and Buhler) who helped strengthen the capacity of more than 600 small and growing food companies in East Africa. Over that period, PFS garnered nearly 100 million media impressions and received the attention and praise by global leaders, including President Barack Obama (who visited PFS project in Ethiopia, July 2015), Senator Amy Klobuchar (who visited PFS project in Ethiopia, Aug 2014 with 3 other women senators), former President Bill Clinton (who recognized PFS with the Global Citizenship Award, Sep 2013) and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton (at International Food Policy Research Institute, Aug 2011).
