I directed the overall sales and marketing strategy--creating and implementing marketing plans across all product lines and services, while preserving and promoting the PSMJ brand globally.Along with overseeing a marketing team, I worked with other directors to establish schedules and annual budgets for sales and marketing, complementing their annual sales goals. I oversaw direct marketing efforts, including the implementation of an effective database, as well as direct mail and email campaigns. I led promotional concepts providing direction to copywriters and graphic designers. I tracked, tested and reported campaign results, amending campaigns as necessary to ensure best possible response rates. As a result of combined marketing efforts, I successfully positioned the company to #1 among industry competitors.

As Publishing Director, I launched three successful newsletters in one year as well as overseeing the continued success of our flagship newsletters : "Professional Services Management Journal," and "A/E Marketing Journal." I expanded PSMJ's book selection from six titles to 30 titles produced annually. Through creative marketing efforts, I increased our subscriber base by 30% in one year.

As the Director of Education, I managed the production of PSMJ’s Educational Seminars and Conferences, responding to the ongoing needs of continuing education in the A/E/C industry.During my time in this role, I succeeded at expanding our customer-service base beyond the United States. I developed and maintained a seminar/conference budget, calendar and marketing plan. In addition, I was responsible for speaker coordination and meeting logistics; travel and accommodation; on-site logistics and exhibits, customer registration and responding to requests; evaluating seminar results and building relationships with Sponsors and Partners.
