I am a registered dietitian with experience in clinical and sports nutrition. I currently work as a clinical dietitian for Duke University Health System providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to patients and family members. I have also recently started my own private practice that focuses on sports nutrition through a weight inclusive lens.Additionally, I worked with collegiate athletes at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, providing individual counseling and group nutrition education, and assisted the sports dietitians with day-to-day operations for football and Olympic sports. For the last few years, I have also been an intern for the My Sports Dietitian team.Outside of nutrition, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, and attending sporting events in the Triangle and Charlotte area or when I'm back home in the Chicago area. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, who frequently enjoys the game "Please fetch the toy that I purposefully kicked under the couch".
