At The Mine, our goal is to combine the best of entrepreneurial innovation and sustainability with the best of the social sector's compassion and empathy.We create social impact primarily through a prestigious 9-month fellowship for Oklahoma City's top young professionals, launching in 2018. We also provide workshops and trainings for local nonprofits around ideas of social innovation, human-centered design, executive communication, and more.

Launched I-CCEW's first office in Oklahoma City. This included launching the I-CCEW internship program for OU graduate students in OKC (grew 2x in Y1), launching The Mine Fellowship (themineokc.com) in OKC, and expanding the OK Coders (okcoders.com) developer bootcamp in both OKC and Tulsa. As part of my role in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in OKC, I also serve on the organizing committee for 1 Million Cups OKC (1millioncups.com/okc), a monthly entrepreneurial meetup showcasing OKC startups, and on the steering committee for the Oklahoma Entrepreneur Mentoring Program, a program based off of MITs Venture Mentoring Service that is being adapted for the broader OKC community.

OK Coders is Oklahoma’s first software development boot camp. We provide part-time, intro-level coding bootcamps for people looking to get their feet wet with programming. Worked alongside Sandia National Laboratories and the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth to create a commercialization plan for a suite of DNA analysis technologies originally developed for homeland security purposes.

One of 3 interns selected from 30+ eligible candidates to lead a team of 8 student interns (4 computer science, 4 interdisciplinary) in a software development and commercialization project for local startup, Crowdscribed. Project resulted in successful creation of website and business model with projected 10X ROI for founders.

Created a commercialization plan and iPad application for a new type of concussion detection technology developed by local startup, ICEdot. Conducted market research with 40+ high school football programs and created full marketing and distribution strategy to bring in over $7 million profit in 5 years.
