Direct Jackson's Corporate Philanthropy initiatives across the country and support the efforts of the Jackson Charitable Foundation. Focused on driving impact and consistency across all of Jackson’s community investments, making it even easier and more meaningful for our associates to support to causes they love.

Manage Jackson's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in Middle Tennessee, including volunteer programs, board training and placement, a quarterly grants program and partnerships with non-profits and other community agencies.

Direct Education & Outreach efforts through educational events, industry exhibitions and partnership development with over 120 organizations across the state.Staff responsible for the 50th Anniversary Campaign (five events, with attendance totaling over 800 across the state, a unique collaborative video project, historical research, fundraising and comprehensive event promotion and publicity)Direct Communication efforts through designing all agency publications (annual report, newsletter, brochures), website development and social media management.s Executive liaison to Board of Commissioners, preparing and presenting at regular reports to full Board of Commissioners, Education Committee.Assist Executive Director with daily management of office.

Manage a 1.3 million dollar grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that consists of eight programs designed to increase ocean literacy among inland residents utilizing the Aquarium's education department.

Write grant proposals for local, regional and national foundations and fundraising-oriented pieces for publication.Maintain constituent information and generate reports in Raiser’s Edge, focusing on major donors and prospects. Write content & coordinator distribution of major communications pieces: annual calendar, annual report, quarterly magazine and Development website content.Plan and execute donor events and receptions as a member of a cross-departmental team.Manage budget for annual fundraising event Serve & Protect.

Prepare mailings for Executive Office and Development Department.Research foundation, corporate and individual prospects.Assist in grant applications to local, regional and national foundations.

Assist with volunteer coordination on-site during build days.Maintain and update volunteer database.Worked with Fundraiser Committees to solicit gifts for Annual Silent Auction.Host Habitat for Humanity vendor booths at Community Events.Assisted with general office administration as necessary.
