I am a driven and personable worker with excellent communication skills and a commitment to efficient working. I have a keen interest in problem solving and, along with many years experience in the NHS, have honed my skills in job prioritisation, flexible and adaptable working and managing a busy work load. I have a passion for the success of the team, with particular emphasis on effective team working to reach the common goal. I work well under instruction but can also manage a team independently. In my experience as a Dietitian, I communicated with service users, other health professionals and management on a daily basis. Timely and appropriate communication is a high priority due to high caseload numbers and other non-clinical responsibilities and due to the varying nature of conversations with each different staff member. I am very open to taking on new responsibilities. Through my career as a Dietitian, I worked my way up from a graduate grade Band 5 Dietitian, to Band 6 specialist Dietitian work, up to more recently where I acted up to Band 7 Dietitian, managing a small Dietetic team including administration staff and developing and managing projects and service development with other senior health professionals in differing clinical teams in order to review and improve the service for patients where it needed it but also highlight training or staffing issues, drawing attention to the issues this may cause.
