About Susannah Green
I’m a writer/editor with 7+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, UX writing, and digital marketing. I’ve written everything from long-form articles on enrolling in Medicare and healthy aging tips to navigational microcopy for a state’s Department of Health website to blog posts about civic tech to quippy Instagram posts for a university student center. No matter the brand voice/audience/content channel, I excel at translating an organization's goals and ideas into engaging, strategy-driven content. In my current role, I craft UX copy for state benefits websites as part of the Government and Public Services practice at Deloitte. Prior to that, I wrote, edited, and managed blog posts, newsletters, social media campaigns, website page content, and academic journal submissions in roles at Georgetown University, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the National Council on Aging. I even went back to school to further hone my digital storytelling skills—I recently earned my M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown. I’ve also earned professional certifications in Content Strategy, UX Design, and Digital Marketing. At heart, I enjoy any opportunity to synthesize and simplify. Interdisciplinary, tangled, hard-to-summarize ideas-----> clean, user-friendly copy.
