I am a Health, Safety, Environment and Communities Specialist (HSEC) at ESS (Environment and Social Sustainability), a leading consultancy firm in environmental and social sustainability, with over 11 years of experience in the field. I am currently attached to Marampa Mines Limited as an Environmental Specialist.I hold a master's degree in Health, Safety, and Environment Management from Ken Institute of Executive Learning and a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science from University of Cape Coast. I have obtained certification in Environmental Management from NEBOSH, and various certifications in Environment, Social and Governance and Certificate in the World Bank environmental and Social frameworks and water management approaches. I am a certified ISO 14001 Lead auditor and Implementer and also an ISO 26000 Lead Manager for Social Responsibility. Additionally I have experience in IFC ESMS implementation. My core competencies include conducting and delivering various environmental and social assessments, audits, plans, reports, and frameworks for diverse projects and clients, applying my skills in Environmental and Social Management Systems, stakeholder engagement, Environment, Health and Safety, and materiality assessment. I have also provided valuable insights and recommendations for improving environmental and social performance and compliance as a consultant and a researcher. My mission is to advance the HSE agenda and contribute to positive environmental and social outcomes for the communities and stakeholders involved in the projects I work on.
