Susannah has 15 years of consulting experience in corporate environmental strategies, and is currently a Senior Manager in Sustainability Strategy & Transformation in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy practice. Her latest client work involves shaping industry and CEO agendas on ESG topics including climate change and sustainable products and services. Susannah is the Sustainability leader for the Deloitte US Chemicals Practice and Deputy lead for US Energy & Chemicals Industry Sustainability. Previously, she lead the Deloitte US Integrated Climate services team, structuring end-to-end support for clients on their Path to Net Zero.Her consulting teams design data-driven models and tools to guide sectors, industries, and companies toward a lower emissions future. She is also scaling circular economy, plastics, and packaging sustainability work for the US firm, and has driven ground-breaking work in sustainable sourcing, packaging and plastic waste mitigation, and materials end-of-life management for companies in the energy, retail, and consumer products industries. As a Yale graduate student, Susannah completed a number of consulting projects for food and beverage, telecommunications, and healthcare companies. Engagements included a global supply chain risk analysis, agricultural GHG emissions reduction strategy, customer lifetime value calculation, and corporate water management program. Before graduate school, Susannah managed a five-person team at Eastern Research Group, Inc., developing and implementing federal environmental partnership programs for U.S. EPA. Susannah has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, Masters in Environmental Management (MEM) from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a BA in American History and Environmental Policy from Northwestern University. She is also a devoted alumni mentor for the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps program for graduate students studying business and the environment.
