A creative and empathetic Sound Designer, Audio Engineer and Dubbing / Re-recording Mixer; the variety of styles I am called to work in drives my enthusiasm for each new project.
I am inspired by collaborating on unique audio / audio-visual pieces, with a love of the detailed work involved in creating soundtracks on a wide range of projects for film, TV, radio and digital platforms. Experimenting with technology to form innovative ways of expressing ideas with sound lends a focus to my imagination as does the influence of listening to a wide variety of creative sound from sources such as films, music, podcasts and sound installations.
Over the last few years I have worked on a wide range of projects all with the challenge of pressurised time constraints: TV programmes and promos tailored for broadcast in the UK and/or international territories, online promotional content, individual podcast episodes and series, and foreign language documentary films.
My areas of expertise focus around collaborating with producers and VO artists to achieve high quality recordings; refining and editing dialogue, music and sound FX, and mixing all elements of audio to create dynamic and engaging soundtracks; designing audio structures particularly for podcast series and promos, including sourcing and arranging music; reflecting the vision of filmmakers through creative and detailed soundscapes for documentaries, animations, and live action fiction films.
