Enterprise Partnerships WA is a not for profit organisation focused on fostering place-based, community-led enterprise development in remote Western Australia through partnerships with remote Aboriginal communities. Our aim is to support people living in remote Aboriginal communities to use enterprise as vehicle for economic and social change. Through enterprise exposure and learning opportunities, tailored business development support and strategic partnership development we enable communities to create pathways that promote health and wellbeing and facilitate connection to culture, country and language.

As a consultant in Business Strategy and Development, I work with community and not-for-profit organisations to identify and create solutions around key policy/advocacy and community development issues, with a particular emphasis on consumer participation and engagement. ELP’s approach, developed in partnership with a number of remote Aboriginal communities over the last 5 years, increases the economic empowerment and participation of the most economically marginalised individuals by providing opportunities for people to build the skills, knowledge and confidence to explore, develop and grow their ideas into microenterprises.My role as the WA State Manager is to explore how ELP can add value across WA by helping to build a supportive ecosystem for indigenous entrepreneurship, and to enable opportunities for partnerships, referral pathways, advocacy, research and investment. We believe that exploring this in a collaborative way will have the best outcomes and impact.
