As a passionate textile artist and designer based in London, I specialize in crafting captivating hand-embroidered artworks inspired by the beauty of the natural world. I work in two different styles; figurative and abstract. In my figurative pieces, I combine tonal pencil drawing with colourful detailed hand embroidery. My abstract work takes on a texture and tactile quality creating leather artworksMy art has been shown in numerous exhibitions, in particular the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Bath Society of Artist Annual Exhibition, The Broderer’s Exhibition and the Royal Cambrian Academy Open Exhibition. I have exhibited my wallpaper and fabric designs at Decorex International, ICFF, London Craft Week, London Design Festival.Alongside my own practice I work on collaborative projects and art commissions. I can create bespoke pieces of leather or fabric art for the wall or interior surfaces. I welcome contact from interior designers, architects and textile design companies interested in potential collaborations.With over 24 years’ experience in the fashion industry, my passion for design has led me to undertake a range of roles within my career to date, including as a textile print designer, graphic designer, consumer product designer and hand embroidery artist.
