Direct the development of all new products, sustaining projects, and build-to-order/custom devices for the company’s flagship product line. Lead teams to complete all project-related requirements including product conceptualization, development, surgeon communication, testing, manufacturing, quality control, packaging, processing, regulatory submissions, and technical sales support.  Lead product development and cross-functional teams for all knee products from conceptualization to commercialization: primary knee systems, revision knee systems, implants, instruments, additive manufacturing, porous structures, porous coating, casting, forging, UHMWPE material processes Cultivate surgeon relationships and maintain surgeon communication throughout project to ensure customer requirements are met, as well as creating team environment with surgeons Lead intradepartmental monthly reporting to upper management through integrated business planning Led company-wide project management improvement project with implementation of Smartsheet project management software tool Proficiently work within Design Control procedures: Design Inputs/Outputs, Risk Analysis, Design Verification/Validation Developed new project management best practices as well as Design Control methods under MDD, FDA and MHLW regulations Direct Material Review Board, Product Incident, Medical Device Reporting, and recall decisions Responsibility for 510(k), Design Dossier, Technical File, and MHLW submissions for product line Provide training and expertise to the marketing and sales teams concerning technical aspects of product line and industry Work with employees to bring out the best productivity by matching personal skills and goals with company and project objectives  Provide continuous improvement and training opportunities to team and department through “lessons learned”, journal reviews, conference sessions, and a women in engineering group
