The main goal was to improve the properties of the product by adding different additives. I focused on several properties namely: Moisture absorption, Melt Flow Index, CO2 content, density, cell density (using SEM), crystallinity (using DSC). I developed several DSC methods to investigate the influence of additives on crystallinity.Besides my internship report I also wrote an article on the influence of additives on the crystallinity of BioFoam®. This article is accepted for publication in e-JES.
