Technical writer for the CoherenSE and CSE Studio projects:- Analysis of existing documentation and software tools- Maintenance of existing CoherenSE documentation- Analysis and implementation of a new tool for internal and external documentation: Atlassian Confluence, training of all users in the new tool- Conversion of existing CoherenSE v1.0 documentation into Confluence- Analysis, conception and creation of user and developer manuals in Confluence for CSE Studio- Confluence administration of all user documentation and internal development documents

- Designed and wrote user, administrator and programmer manuals, online help, and in-product tutorials for BMC Client Management using DITA XML, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe PhotoShop; release notes, requirements, and procedures documents.- Managed documentation in Confluence wiki and supported the wiki documentation of other products.- Became familiar with Confluence wiki and - being part of the wiki support team - its administration, such as implementing the new product in the production environment and testing new versions before they were applied.- Managed translation of manuals into five languages (French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish). Localised application strings into French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, managed the localisation to Japanese.- Acted as support writer for another BMC product's documentation using Madcap Flare and Confluence wiki.- Managed interns for "multi-lingual technical writing" bachelor.

Sophia-Antipolis (Acquired By Bmc Software)

- Evolved and matured the DITA-XML system over a dozen release cycles an turned it into the foundation of our single-source documentation platform, allowing to create such different outputs as multilingual context-sensitive online help and PDFs for all different audiences, as well as an intuitive “guided help”, integrated within the product.- Designed and wrote user, administrator and programmer manuals, online help, and in-product tutorials our product using DITA XML, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe PhotoShop; release notes, requirements, and procedures documents.- Translated manuals to German and managed translation of manuals into four languages (French, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish). Sophia-Antipolis (Acquired By Numara Software)

- Took over and reorganised the existing product documentation of the existing software and then designed and created the documentation for a number of new products.- Analysed the products as well as the audience to create the appropriate documentation in different formats, such as printed manuals, pdfs, online help.- Designed the localisation system in order to open the international market with which new languages can be easily added and translated using standard tools.- Analysed possible solutions once FrameMaker limitations regarding different outputs became too restrictive, specifically context-sensitive online help, and then migrated our 2000+ page manual sources to DITA-XML for all supported languages.- Localised the software interface to English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese and managed the localisation to Japanese and Chinese; translated our manuals, web site and other technical and company internal documents to German, and managed their translation to all other lanagues.

Provided technical pre- and post-sale customer support online and on-site in seven European countries, localised our database to German, installed, configured and customised the database on the customers' sites, designed and created training materials in English and German, held training sessions at the customers' sites and in-house in English, French and Geman.
