As Director for Infrastructure and Services in Group IT, I’m located at the Danish headquarter, leading a global team of 35+ talented specialists with presence in six locations, supporting 3Shape colleagues across 24 sites. Responsibilities include IT Infrastructure (data centers, network), cloud operations, IT security operations, PCs/user management, IT ServiceDesk, and - before a reorganization - IT governance, GDPR compliance and the DPO function.

Among other projects, managing the roll-out of Five9 cloud-based contact center solution across 9 locations to support enhanced digitalization of a global customer support organization (Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, Colombia, US, Japan, Korea, Australia, Philippines - and China).

In 2010, the company’s owners commenced a divestment of the business area. Digitalization.Drive program management and establish PMO:In 2009, Evenex decided to insource the development and maintenance activities of its Purchase to Pay workflow solution and consequently set up a new R&D organization in 2009-2010 staffed with local architects, product and project management teams and offshore development and test teams. I established a new project management office (PMO) as well as new cross-functional delivery processes in collaboration with Head of Engineering, Head of Product Management and Head of Test.I was the program manager for the first two releases of the cloud-based software solution delivered inhouse by the new development team (75+ team: local and offshore teams and multiple subcontractors during the competence ramp up period). The insource and first release entailed functionality enhancements, a new backend/document transportation layer and establishment of IT operations in own data center for insourcing of hosting from external partner. The program was organised with an agile approach based on Scrum with cross-functional teams, biweekly sprints and monthly shared planning and alignment workshops. Evenex was the leading provider of cloud-based eProcurement and EDI solutions in the Nordic market.

Implementation of a new commercial self-service platform.Lead and drive the establishing of a subsidiary as a new sales company offering internet-based electricity services to residential customers, alongside my other management responsibilities in the Naturgas Fyn Group.In 2006, Naturgas Fyn decided to implement a new multi-utility strategy. Accordingly, the subsidiary Switch.dk, an internet-based electricity supplier, was launched March 2008 as a greenfield start-up.- Managed the greenfield start-up: Defining the business requirements and business model, handling prerequisites and the multiple agreements needed to operate in the energy market.- Coordination of stakeholders and all suppliers (several IT suppliers, advertising and design company, communication advisor, customer experience and usability consultant and other external advisors) in order secure a very tight time frame towards final launch. - IT solution programme management: Supervised design, development and implementation of back-end and front-end applications, the self-service website and a new IT infrastructure, delivered partly by own IT organization and partly by multiple suppliers. - Supervised and supported the organizational change management process and operating activities during the time after the launch, where most services were delivered by my teams in the Group’s existing shared services operation.Switch.dk was a Danish electricity supplier and was in 2009 part of the Danish energy company Naturgas Fyn Group. The company was later sold.
