At the age of 26, I decided to become an entrepreneur. I deliberately chose a self-created school of learning through work and entrepreneurship instead of pursuing extensive studies. I wanted to develop through hands-on experiences, trial and error, getting back up, trying again but better and wiser. I have been an entrepreneur for over 22 years now. We had a recruitment and selection agency for 10 years. Eleven years ago, we transformed this company into a video agency. We enhance the online visibility of businesses and events through creative video campaigns on social media 📹We also have an app called 2Connect. It's a video platform for entrepreneurs. You can easily create a video pitch through the app, watch video pitches from other entrepreneurs, and schedule meetings. With our app, we aim to help entrepreneurs and make the world a little kinder. Less focus on "me" and more on "we." Instead of asking what you can gain, ask yourself: what can I contribute?What am I proud of?My perseverance. To establish and run a new company during a crisis period of at least 6 years, all while raising a young family. Persisting through prolonged uncertainty, trying again every day to keep the business and family together. Not becoming bitter but striving to be an honest and social person has made me strong!I want to make a difference from the heart. My "Why" factor is to make the world a little kinder and emphasize the idea of what you bring to the table. How beautiful would it be if the next generation introduces themselves as "I am Maxime van der Veen, how can I help you?"
