As the Vice President, Human Resources, I lead all areas of HR for over 1600 employees in 5 states. KVC Health Systems is a nonprofit family services organization that is advancing behavioral healthcare, child welfare and the health and wellness of entire communities. We focus on healthy childhoods and healthy communities by touching the lives of over 60,000 children, adults, and families each year through in-home family support, foster care, adoption, behavioral healthcare, hospitals, education, training and consultation.

As the Chief Human Resources Officer, I was responsible for the HR Function. As an elected officer, I was a member of the senior leadership team and reported directly to the President/CEO. In addition, I was a member of the Compensation & Organization Committee.

As CHRO I led global human resources for over 4,000 employees. C&D is a $3.5 billion company specializing in consumer packaged goods ranging from laundry detergent to cat litter.

One of the largest national Grocery Wholesalers with over 8B in revenue, and growing.• Redesigned Compensation and Benefits Package resulting in savings of $6M annually. • Performed due diligence resulting in the opening of $1B division in New Orleans.• Created and implemented CEO/COO/CMO Succession Plan to ensure strong executive leadership for the next 10 years.• Successfully negotiated Union contracts with Teamsters resulting in enhanced safety and productivity programs.• Effectively represented the company as media spokesperson both locally and nationally• Successfully functioned as executive coach for senior leadership team to develop a culture of open communication and diversity.

• Provided leadership for 22 US, 3 Canadian, 15 Latin America Manufacturing Plants/Distribution Centers resulting in $4 million of cost savings, increased productivity, and improved recruitment / retention of talent.• Led the HR Operations Model Restructure to “One HR”.• Executed strategies to achieve World Class Manufacturing/Safety/TPN/Lean Practices.• Led the development of Succession Planning Process which was replicated throughout the company. • Negotiated union contracts with UFCW, Laborers AFL-CIO resulting in significant management-rights-clauses in all contracts.

Developed and executed HR Strategies and Policies for the company resulting in significantly improved engagement scores, lower third party interventions and lower overall costs for the company. Worked with diverse resource groups as teh Chief Diversity Officer to improve relations with the CWA, IBEW, and various Human Resources groups.
