Susan Dzieduszycka-Suinat is a visionary leader dedicated to expanding voter participation, equity, and access. As Co-Founder, President, and CEO of U.S. Vote Foundation (US Vote) and its Overseas Vote and US.VOTE initiatives, Susan’s work encompasses the foundation’s strategic and operational planning, innovation and technical development, and marketing programs. The Inspiration Behind US VoteIn 2005, Susan banded together with other American citizens abroad to form Overseas Vote, the precursor to US Vote focused on helping Americans living abroad exercise their voting rights. The more the Overseas Vote team learned, the more they realized that citizens living in the U.S. needed help just as badly. Applying the lessons learned during the creation of Overseas Vote, and making election information available to U.S. citizens living with the U.S., was the logical next step. The team saw the potential to transform the U.S. voting landscape for the better. In 2012, US Vote was born, bringing the easy-to-use, free, searchable database of accurate voting information to America. Unlike other sources of voter information, US Vote, Overseas Vote and US.VOTE take a voter-centric approach that keeps the end user – the voter – in mind.Fast forward to 2024 - and it's 20 years keeping the foundation alive - and more than that - it is thriving. The US Vote team is an incredibly dedicated group of professionals that joined as volunteers for the organization, demonstrating their shared sense of purpose in assisting U.S. citizens to take part in the franchise. In the 2024 Election Year, US Vote expected at least 6 Million voters to use its online services.
