I served as the Project Manager for Wolf's Lane Park, a two block long, downtown park renovation. Beginning in 2013, I researched and chose a park philosophy, the Power of 10+ by the Project for Public Spaces to create a multi-faceted park. I hired the landscape architect, rewrote a grant for $650,000, navigated the approval process, bid the project and oversaw construction in the fall of 2016. I leveraged the grant with donations by other organizations to bring the total to $800,000. This project has been an economic catalyst for the downtown.I managed the renovation of Trotta Park, a stalled downtown pocket-park project, in a joint venture with the Town of Pelham.I assisted in the preparation of four annual village budgets under the tax cap ($14M 2017), served as the liaison for the Department of Public Works (DPW), MTA, and village communications including social media content and a new website design. I negotiated two CSEA union contracts with the DPW. I also worked on a series of organizational projects for the village including a parking map, an organizational chart for local governments and a documentation initiative. I represented the village government as a speaker at community events, roundtable discussions and organization presentations.
