I'm a certified lab technician through the Soil Food Web program, and can perform biological assessments of any soil or compost for biological completeness, which results in maximum ability to regenerate soil. I also can provide compost coaching (method for generating the maximum number of beneficial organisms in minimum amount of time). I'm located in the United States and can receive samples by mail.As a UX researcher, strategist, and designer, I'm interested in working as an individual contributor and also in supporting early career designers and researchers in a director, manager, or other mentoring capacity. I bring many years of human-centered design experience to my engagements, including working in a consulting environment (for agencies, including full time at Fitch), for a large corporation (Apple), as well as with startups, nonprofits, small/medium-sized businesses, organizations based in and outside the U.S., and for the United Nations. Specialties: complex product and service challenges, strategy, user research, UX/ UI design, systems thinking, interaction design, information architecture, instructional design, service design, usability, content/ writing, project management, and social/ environmental/ climate impact work. I have an arts and technology background, grew up in rural Pennsylvania, have directed and produced independent short films, and enjoy traveling domestically or abroad for work or pleasure.
