We attended each others Annual Meetings and Exhibitions for years. I learned so much by watching Susan conduct an orchestra of her peers and colleagues, and always went back to my office with one or more new lessons learned from the master herself. Susan has earned an outstanding reputation as a foremost authority in all association and societies’ leadership roles throughout her distinguished career that includes Executive Leadership positions at the Chamber, ASAE, GWSAE, and The Center for Association Leadership, and now her great new roles as advisor to individuals, organizations, and governments. Those of us that followed her brilliant career admired and learned from her paramount creativity, innovation, brilliance, diligence, commitment to excellence, among many other lessons learned. All of her accomplishments were always accompanied by her signature qualities of empathy, caring, ethics, compassion, and deep rooted concern for others.
