I give guest lectures on climate change and serve as a resource for students and faculty.

I've given many talks and workshops on behavioral solutions to the climate crisis. I've also been interviewed about climate change a number of times. Idle-Free California Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Sacramento County, CA. The organization raises awareness of the impact of vehicle idling in California, particularly idling when parked - a harmful, wasteful and largely unnecessary practice. Idling reduction is a low-hanging fruit opportunity to improve air quality and health, reduce carbon emissions, conserve energy, and save money.

Media training workshop. Created educational brochures; attended conservation seminars; arranged funding for local environmental education and sustainability projects; started a Meetup group; handled publicity; chaired committees; developed programs; conducted outreach. Recent highlights:1. Co-founder & Co-chair of the county Climate Action Coalition with Audubon, Sierra Club, and other environmental groups. 2. 2017 & 2018 Audubon Advocacy Day, climate change/environmental lobbying at the state capitol in Sacramento.

Nonprofit consulting organization: behavior change for sustainability. I have helped with: project strategies and implementation (e.g., paper use reduction), social marketing, user analyses, barrier analyses, surveys, literature searching, data collection and analysis, training workshops. Gave four webinars for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). Coauthor of two chapters in *Making Shift Happen: A Practitioner's Guide to Creating Successful Environmental Behaviour Change* - a Root Solutions guidebook for sustainability leaders due out later in 2021 (New Society). Two sustainability projects are under way: vehicle idling at local schools and community tree planting. The CAC helped convince the local school district to establish no-idling zones at all schools.
