Hi, I'm Susan Shorters, President and CEO of High Impact Partners (HIP). Leveraging over 30 years of experience in program development, project management, building and leading teams; working with government agencies, corporate entities, nonprofits, and community-based organizations, I founded HIP in 2009 to reflect my personal and professional philosophy of having a positive impact on people, projects, and performance. HIP provides leadership training, technical assistance, and administrative support to national workforce initiatives.Prior to launching HIP, I was an independent contractor, where I served as project director for a multi-year U.S. Department of Labor reentry grant project and directed a team of professionals to deliver training and coaching to DOL grantees across the U.S.Before leading DOL projects, I directed the National Faith-Based Academy at the National Congress for Community Economic Development (NCCED) and led the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) to develop a workforce pipeline of up-and-coming leaders from colleges and universities. For every stage of my career, it's been my goal to demonstrate my passion for telling the untold success stories of people, programs, projects and organizations.
