Operations Director of the CWHH NWL Integrated Care Pilot involving the delivery of a large scale integration programme across 4 CCG’s. Held to account via Integration Management Board attended by Provider Directors/ Chiefs. Successfully completed business planning cycle, signed of by Management Board and successfully submitted to 4 CCG Boards over 2 successive years. Delivered wide scale multi provider projects with clear performance metrics that involved Mental Health, Community, Primary, Acute and Social Care and other organisations. As Deputy Director in Strategy and Transformation team major focus was around Integration across four CCG's, and Community Workforce redesign, with completion of a major programme across eight CCG's signed off by providers and commissioners and used to support reconfiguration programme.

Responsible for the development of novel collaboration between Yale School of Medicine, and UCL Partners. Delivered 3 year Strategy, and established areas of specific focus.• Successfully led strategic review and defined focus and 3 year strategy with consultation with Vice Provosts and Deans of Yale Medical School, signed off at Vice Provost level at the Annual Meeting.• Undertook an options appraisal to understand the scale of collaboration and organisational basis for cardiovascular partnership working, the recommendations of which were agreed by UCL medical school.• Built sustainable partnerships with academics and created academic groups to focus on Dengue Fever and Cardiovascular Medicine.• Organised an event at the House of Commons to raise awareness of the Collaborative which was attended by members of Parliament and Lords Provost of UCL, Dean of Yale Medical School.• Designed visiting electives programmes for undergraduates between the respective schools of medicine, and Senior Academic Lecture Series.

In partnership with Clinical Director, responsible for strategic and operational management of the division, which included neonatal, maternity breast and gynaecology services. Accountable for financial management, service development and delivery of the Trust’s business plan. Responsible for moving Clinical services into new premises. Turnover circa £100 m. Staff: 470.• Turnaround of Women’s Health division from 2007/8 year end position negative £1 million to break even following year through improvement in income streams, coding accuracy, new business and spending oversight.• Implemented Strategic Priorities within Women’s Health Division, which established the overall strategic direction of the Division, and was supported by significant staff engagement to improve communication and establish common values. • Implemented a patient feedback and improvement process to enable rapid improvement cycles within outpatients and ward areas.• Moved Women’s Health Division (neonatology, maternity, breast and gynaecology) into new purpose built premises (2009).• Expanded maternity and neonatal services from yearly birth rate of 3000 to 5000 over 2 year period, during which time attained CNST level 3.• Reconfigured clinical services, including breast, fertility, outpatient gynaecology, fetal medicine (2009/10).• Implemented 18 week process to attain national targets.• Part of on call Silver Manager rota, and managed internal major incident as Silver Command.

Responsible for strategic and operational management of Cancer Centre, which included Oncology, Radiotherapy, Medical Physics and Nuclear Medicine Services, and supported four Cancer Units. Led significant service expansion. Key role: Budget of £20 million, Staff: 220.• Accountable for financial management, service development yearly development of Quality and efficiency plan and delivery of the Trust’s business plan. • Developed strategic business cases to support service expansion.• Undertook service line review of Oncology Services to support consolidation and expansion of services.• Implemented processes to suucessfully attain Cancer waiting times, and redesigned Nuclear medicine services to improve throughput and reduce costs.• Improved cost position through improved costs and use of OJEU process, implementing improved coding.• Supported SHA work into Cancer Pricing.

• Assisted on LIFT/ PFI Projects, delivering consultancy support as required. Delivered a multi- organisational training strategy in SE London across Health and Social Care.

• Managing the Budget £1.5 million, 35 staff. Accountable for care delivered, staff and budgetary management.
