Summarize myself? Well, I’ll give it a try……A creative, strategic Change Broker never satisfied with “good enough” and astute collector of lessons learned. Collaborative environments are energizing and having the freedom to create new programming allows me to contribute in a meaningful way. My background includes 8 years in the environmental industry followed by 8 years starting my own company manufacturing air filters for critical care environments. After selling the company, I worked in K-12 private education using entrepreneurial experience to gain accreditation, champion creative curriculum, build membership and enhance donor relations. As a Career Consultant and Employer Relations Manager at Texas Christian University, I was able to share lessons learned with students beginning their careers as well as employers refining their recruiting strategies. My last position with TCU was in the Neeley School of Business, working with the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program, a 3 year academic and co-curricular experience, is an opportunity to engage with premier business students who are redefining their own personal goals and challenging society through exceptional leadership skills and abilities. In my latest endeavor, my husband and I found his father's WWII moonshine recipe in his war trunk after his death. We bought a small still and discovered his shine was pretty good! Sledge Distillery opened in 2016 making hand-crafted spirits on our working cattle ranch in Granbury, Texas. In 2020, I accepted a position with Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose, Texas as a Retreat Coordinator. I get to put those years of programming into practice working with groups, churches, and companies to plan their retreats in our peaceful yet adventurous setting. I visit churches and talk about our capabilities and longstanding tradition of hospitality.
