After 45 years in the energy field, I'm taking a less structured path forward to enjoy family, friends, and the environment. The years have taken me on a journey through energy policy, electric and telecommunications regulation and deregulation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, new technology, market transformation, climate change, non-profit leadership and more. While I was well prepared academically by Le Moyne College, Virginia Commonwealth University and the great University of Wisconsin, I never dreamed that my first job as an analyst on a DOE/PURPA sponsored project would lead to a lifetime of meaningful and fulfilling work with amazing and dedicated colleagues. I am particularly proud of my achievements as the CEO/Executive Director of three non-profit organizations, all of which were stronger on my departure, and all thriving today. I look forward to continued involvement in the industry as an advisor and mentor to the next generation who will lead us to a more sustainable, cleaner, and healthier future.
