Food & Beverage ManagerJob Responsibilities Act as a mentor for the development of staff in all related areas. Educates, trains , retrains and develops team members within the food and beverage department, Interviews , hires and counsels staff members as needed, Establishes goals for measuring sales, revenue new projects and business development. Oversees and assists in all food and beverage functions with the department managers. Develops Bar promotions, drink specials and features to enhance the guest experience and increase business levels. Develops menus labour models service standards operational procedures. Oversees all beverages purchasing and beverage Inventories. Maintains budgeted cost of sales. Works with the events department in planning, promoting and operating special member events. Ensures that superior standards of food service are at all times meeting the requirements of our guests. Meets with the staff at all levels to plan the for future food and beverage functions as well as needs of the current expectations. Develops a common vision amongst team members of a desired future state. Maintains effective communication between all members in regards to food & beverage issues and concerns. Ability to calculate food costs, menu pricing, discounts, percentage, Inventory and volume. The Bar manager must understand P&L statements and able to present capital projects. Proactive in exceeding guest satisfaction.
