My 15+ years of expertise includes federal, state, and local permitting including extensive experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) including all aspects of the NEPA process, incorporating agency scoping, public involvement, Environmental Assessments (EA), Categorical Exclusions, FONSI (Finding of No Significant Impact), Records of Decision (ROD) and Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA). Clientele included commercial, private, state, native, and federal entities and agencies. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, project permitting, project management, project planning, Phase I and Phase II site investigations/reporting, wetlands delineations/reporting, environmental compliance assessments, site remediation, and chemical analyses.Over my years of permitting I have nurtured and developed strong working relationships with the various state and federal agencies required to get projects permitted in a timely manner. I am self motivated, organized and able to work independently or co-operatively in a team setting and enjoy tackling complex wetland and project permitting issues. Working exclusively with civil engineering design firms has provided me with solid experience reviewing/interpreting plan sets to then translate them into project narratives which accompany the various required local, state, and federal permit applications. It has also provided me with experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and at times stressful environment.
