Manages all aspects of labor relations at Adventist Health. Provides consultative support to system-wide Human Resources teams and senior leadership to support labor relations for the 35,000+ employee population. Interprets collective bargaining agreements, memorandum of understandings, policies, and procedures while providing professional analytical duties and advice on legal compliance issues as they relate to labor and employee relations. Primary contact with representatives for unions, associations, and outside labor legal counsel. Manages, negotiates, administers, and implements MOU agreements and collective bargaining agreements. Responsible for the development and implementation of system wide strategic policies and procedures related to the administration of the collective bargaining agreements and related Adventist Health policies. Handles traditional labor questions/issues, union organizing, interpretation of complex contract terms, policies or rules, discipline/employment related issues. Supports local Human Resources in their direct interactions with local unions and local business units. Serves as a liaison between senior leadership and the unions regarding all aspects of business, including technological advances, new business initiatives, changes in the law, efforts to make the business stronger and more viable as well as modifications to terms and conditions of employment for unionized employees.
